The Excel BOA is an exceptional value in a beginner through intermediate level boot. It combines the ease of BOA lacing with cushioning comfort and style. There's faux fur around the cuff of the boot while lower down by your foot there's ample padding to hold your heel in place and a cushioning footbed for added comfort. If you aren't familiar with the BOA system, BOA lacing uses super strong stainless steel laces that loosen up when the knob is pulled out. Then to tighten the laces you push/click the knob in and turn it.
